One of my best friends Andy Tucker, owns a few local businesses , one being the Alex City Pawn. It's Located in downtown Alexander City and in the historic section of the town. He asked me to help him with an idea for a music themed mural on his building , since he sells music gear and Alexander City is home to a few music festivals including the annual Jazz Fest.
I tried to keep the colors harmonious with the current color of the building and to not take away from the historic look.Once we settled on the look of the mural, i set to painting. I completed it in about 3-4 days and lots of support from my friends.
